For Couples: Couples counseling to address communication skills, conflict resolution, building deeper connectedness, and bringing joy back to distant relationships. Trust work, affair recovery, and couples experiencing high conflict are also frequent clients of Matt’s. Premarital sessions offered. LGBTQ welcome.
For Individuals: Men, women, and children seeking relief from depression, anxiety, or low self-esteem. Stressors such as difficult relationships, work or school issues, family issues, or past trauma. Life transitions including launching to college, job change, loss of a family member, new baby, and divorce care. Grief care. Strategies for managing ADHD, OCD, and PTSD. Boundary work and self-care. Ages 12 and up preferred. (Clients younger than 12 may be considered in consultation with a parent / guardian.)
For Families: Family issues such as parent / child relationships, gentle parenting and positive discipline, blended families, elder care, and family or origin work.
